My Google AI experiment

My questions are always neutral and, even then, I always phrase them three different ways as a test. The answers come out pretty much the same.

The main conclusion I have reached is that people don't actually want to see simple facts, because that prevents the endless pages of gainsaying.
don't be daft.

The only way you know if your position is the middle ground, is opening it to challenge and seeing if those on either side disagree.

Indeed...

But you could ask...

a. Did ICE agents use reasonable force?

b. Did ICE overreact?

c. Are the deaths of ICE protestors acceptable?

Answers...

1. "Some encounters between ICE and the public have become aggressive or violent"
So no answer!

2. "Some encounters between ICE and the public have become aggressive or violent."
So no answer!

3. Strangely enough asking that question of Google AI it reverts to 'all' results...

Try it ;)

I found googleAI to be most helpful when asking very specific technical questions such as comparing or identifying the spec of different power tools or cars. It draws stuff together in a way a simple search doesn’t or can’t

It's very good at letter and email writing.too and it can also tell you if people on the other side of whatever business you are doing are doing research or competing.

It has it's uses to be sure...

But often it simply ends up as a propaganda tool because some of those who are seeking genuine useful advice get sucked in by the 'truth' that simply echoes their own thoughts/opinions...

And the further we go down that route, the larger the number of people there will be who no longer question political/social ideas!

You still don't get it. Because you are incredibly biased. You are so desperate to 'win' an argument, that you don't know how to have a discussion. My questions never really asked for opinions. I tried to l limit them to basic facts. A good example is when we were discussing US law. I asked questions like 'which key questions were decided in the case of XXXX vs YYYY'. You, of course, pretended that you already knew the law :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Or when I say that the Apprentice made Trump famous and others dispute it, I ask a question such as 'did the Apprentice alter the public perception of trump'. That seems incredibly neutral to me.

So did you start this thread for people to praise you or agree with you?

You also seem to "forget" the points you were arguing.. Your position on Trump and the apprentice was that it saved him from personal bankruptcy.

I don't get this "win an argument malarky". I thought this site was to sensibly debate topics of interest and give your OWN opinion on the subject. I know there are those that can only insult on here but I tend to not engage with those types. Maybe because I only give my own opinions is why I am No1.

Have you thought of becoming a moderator?
