Hi
I’ve been having slight issues for a month or so with my combi boiler which had came to a head this evening , It will definitely be getting looked at now , I’m just wondering if I can get some suggestions as to a possible cause ,
Basically during running a bath the boiler made a juddering sound followed by the water from the running tap going brown , I switched off the boiler and have left it like that , The taps are now running clear , Any ideas what could be looking at ? The issue I had a month or so ago was the small copper pipe coming from the boiler out to the gable end wall was leaking when the hot water was on , I take it this is all connnected to this issue ?
Thanks

Need some more information about your system. What boiler do you have? Do you have a hot water cylinder? Are you suffering any pressure loss? Do you have any fault codes?

Vokera combi boiler , quite an old boiler no codes , Pressure seems fine , Just been a few noises coming from it recently and as I said the small copper pipe coming from the back is letting water out onto the gable end
Tonight while running a bath a more pronounced noise followed by brown water from the taps

Thanks for reply , can you clarify what you mean by removing it ? Do you think the valve is faulty and needs replaced ?
Do I remove the filling loop entirely and replace it ?

Filling loops are supposed to be temporary and then removed/disconnected (as in the loop/braided hose part). Post a photo if you're unsure
Do you think the valve is faulty and needs replaced ?
It's a possibility, that's why I suggested removing it to try

If the valve(s) have failed, yes, but try disconnecting it first.
