Replace failed thermostat in concealed shower

Im trying to replace a failed thermostat valve in my concealed shower unit. Not sure what make it is.

I’ve taken the front of the tap off and an inner chrime
Ring and exposed the valve but can’t figure out how to remove the valve. The outer chrome ring seems to turn a little but stops.

Any tips welcome.

Put it back together and take a pic of the whole thing then do a google image search to try and find the brand

Be firmer with it, once that is off you should be able to remove the cartridge better.

You may find it necessary to remove the other two knobs and the rectangular chrome plate to work out how to remove the chrome shroud for the temperature control.
