After his dismissal of the UK a few days ago, it seems that the orange rapist now needs our navy...

Linky Linky

"Donald Trump says he hopes the UK, France, China and more nations will send warships to the Strait of Hormuz, as Iran halts international oil shipping through the key choke point"

He wants to drag as many countries into this as possible...

Just like his adoring followers he is of course completely nuts!

Let's hope Starmer holds out against this utter madness!

The right wing press that condemned Bliars invasion are criticising Starmy for not act. Not because he is wrong but because weakening him politically is more important than avoiding ww3

It's always the same way with the right wing nutjobs and fascists!

Speaking of which, garbage and deform seem to be having a problem with the current situation...

A while ago it was “gloves need to come off” and “We should do all we can to support the operation” when dealing with Iran...

Now it's "Britain should not get involved in Donald Trump’s war with Iran"

Plus garbage believes Iran is a bigger threat than Russia

garbage/deform will never be ready to govern!

Nobody is criticising him for not getting involved in the actual attacks on Iran, but he is to be crticised for not taking a defensive action sooner. We should have had those ships out there to defend Cyprus and not expect others to do it for us. Also to be criticised for delaying an answer to our Ally to allow them to use our bases for their operation, denying it then 36 hours later reversing that decision and allowing it. He is not a good leader for these failings. He has destroyed our "special relationship" with our ally in being like this. I do not agree that Trump should have bulldozed his half cut plan into attacking Iran but we have British interests and people out there as well as a comitment to protect Cyprus. They deserve better.

The big man now expects others to provide warships to patrol the Straits of Hormuz? It was only a frw days ago he was critisizing Starmer for sending HMS Dragon 'after the war is already won'.
The RN are world specialist in minesweeper operations, but our bean counters have already pulled the capability from the Gulf so that's another string we've lost from our bow. :(

Maybe but isn't that what Thatcher failed to do before the Falklands invasion? A little notice from the US would have helped.

It was self defence at that point

Hes actually played a blinder from a political perspective. Even Far rage is saying he doesn't want a third world war.

Relations between US and U troops are very good at ground level, but the special relationship has existed in name only for many years. Bidden didn't consult us over pulling out of Afganistan for example. The relationship, to be special, has to involve more than, saying how high when Trumpf says jump.

Farage saying he doesnt want WW3 is of no surprise really, does anybody want that but we do need to act defensively a lot quicker than be the last man to the battle field. Regardless of anyones feelings towards Trump and this war we have a bound duty towards protecting Cyprus and our personel already out there. Cyprus is not happy over this and no dam wonder. We have been dragged into this whether we like it or not in a defensive role.

How many Cypriot citizens or UK citizens or UK forces soldiers have died on Cyprus since Trumps' war started? All flights into Cyprus from the UK must have ceased, surely?

There are approximately 3,500 British military personnel stationed in Cyprus's Sovereign Base Areas (SBAs) of Akrotiri and Dhekelia, comprising Army, RAF, and Royal Navy, alongside 7,000 civilians; Good job noboy has been killed but that doesn't excuse not defending our people out there
