We are older and need an eye level oven but being little workspace have no idea how to accommodate the hob. Currently we have a stand-alone oven hob but the space could take a full height cabinet for the oven. Ideas welcome.

You can modify a single base unit to accommodate a hob but not a straightforward job.

We are all electric.

Albeit dating back to 1994, this is our set up...we have a tall oven housing with a double oven in, and next to it is the hob.
So, if you have space, you could put a tall oven housing to the left of the existing oven, then an extra base unit with a hob set into the work top and either drawers or cupboard and drawer below. Match the drawer/ cupboard fronts and the worktop and you're away.

Yes, we can fit the hob in the space above the draw. Looking at the ElectriQ eiQC60Kv3 hob. Only problem I see is the Cooker switch unit will be at the back of the hob so wonder if it has to be moved to make it more accessible in an emergency. Do the rules state this or can I leave it there?

Wondering also if modern high level ovens need some extraction as I will haver to move to one shown to above the hob of course!
