The Blitz didn't make the UK surrender. The Allies bombing campaign didn't make Germany surrender. The Vietnam war was not won by bombing.

The only time I can think of when bombing ended a war and changed a regime was with Japan in WW2, (there must be others) but that's a horrific example to emulate.

Correct, bombing campaigns only achieve infrastructure damage, Trump could flatten Iran into a carpark and there will be no surrender, ground troops and diplomatic routes are the only way to secure a surrender. Look at how Israel has carpet bombed Gaza any surrender there? No matter what Trump says about how the US is winning this war it is evident that they are not. Destroyed Irans military? Really well how come they are still able to firie missiles and the US fleet is lying miles off the coast? Winning my arris.
