Yesterday. the sky was full of con(chem)trails. Theories are bandied about, whether they are just water vapour or chemical seeding for some purpose. Today, the sky is clear. weather is near as damn it the same as yesterday , temperature, wind and barometric pressure wise, and I can see and hear the aeroplanes, so why no trails?

I'm reliably informed that the chemical seeding is several different compounds. But they can't risk them mixing because that would cause beneficial effects rather then the required dangerous effects.
So they have to wait a day or so, before the next compound can be sprayed to achieve maximum malignant effect.

it also means that if you wear your dust mask on alternate days, you won't be affected.

Is this a joke? I'm really not sure.

They're water vapour, a result of burning HYDROcarbon fuel. I'd assume their existence or otherwise is a result of temperature, humidity, height and other perfectly boring science.

If there was a giant conspiracy to spray us all with chemicals by the entire private airline industry then that would be one hell of an operation, with millions of people keeping it secret. They probably also wouldn't be able to carry any passengers, as they'd need all their weight and volume capacity for the giant tanks of mind-controlling liquids.

So where are they today?

The same here today - no trails. I heard somewhere, that they were so prolific yesterday, simply due to atmospheric conditions.

In idle moments, when there are lots of them about, I open Flightrader, to see what aircraft, and where they are bound. Often as not, they are the transatlantic aircraft.

I have watched it for years, and monitored altitude some at the same altitude same aircraft do not leave one. Temperature at certain altitudes is constant.

No if it was something added to the fuel there would not be a need for millions of people involved in a conspiracy not even pilots would know.

You can spot a chemtrail easy. Its when it goes from horizion to horizon and stays there slowly spreading out joining others until the whole sky is covered in a milky blanket.

You mean just like water vapour does?

Or do you think that tiny droplets of water in the air would just stay where they were and not fall and/or get blown by the wind?

My mate is a long-haul pilot flying out of manchester regularly, with British Airways, and he said that one day they had to fly around while trying to land. Apparently the control tower told them not to fly across their own chemtrail.

So these mysterious "chemicals", whatever they are, can withstand being incinerated in a jet engine?

Utter cobblers.
It doesn't go through the jet engine, it's added after with a catalytic converter type gizmo in the exhaust line.

Yeah yeah. Random bloke on the internet has a "mate" who told him some top government secret. Oh right.

Circling before landing is normal if there's a hold-up. You do know that planes can't stop? Or if they do they go downwards very quickly.

So you don't think it's added to the fuel? So this mysterious "chemical" must be supplied separately and filled into a separate tank? If so then what do they call it and why do they think they're adding it?

I pour AdBlue into a tank on my car. But I understand why, and I doubt that aircraft have this sort of system.

You do realise that a jet engine is just a giant fan- right? When it comes to passenger aircraft.
I think you need to educate yourself little. And maybe look up a little more often
