As I said there's several different compounds and I don't know the names of them all.So you don't think it's added to the fuel? So this mysterious "chemical" must be supplied separately and filled into a separate tank? If so then what do they call it and why do they think they're adding it?
I pour AdBlue into a tank on my car. But I understand why, and I doubt that aircraft have this sort of system.
The one that I know of is "Churchaine". It's a polycyclic alkane.
If you see the planes refueling you see there's usually more than one tanker, and they use different types of hoses.
