Polanski’s popularity plummets

This is widely the view reported in the press, even the lefty press, that Zack Polanski, aka David Paulden's bust up with the met has exposed him.
He rightly distanced himself from those comments, I thought the officer acted perfectly reasonably but the Met chief shouldn’t have allowed himself to be used by Kieth to score a political point so close to the election.

Honestly I don't care.

The UK political system doesn't fund parties, so they need to get money from somewhere. I'm absolutely content that Reform are the best of the bunch, I don't expect perfection.

Take your selective blinkers off, all parties have accepted money from all kinds of dubious sources.

A personal gift of £5,000,000 to a politician is a bit different to your average party donation. Seems to me you are completely fine with Farage being corrupt to the core, which he most definitely is.

I thought the payment was made after he was an mep and before he was an MP. So he wasn't a politician at the time. Is that right

Out of interest, what do the traitors here think of Reform receiving millions of funding from foreign billionaires? In particular Farage's recent "gift" of £5,000,000 from a Thai based cripto billionaire?

Foreign billionaire?
Sounds like a smart guy.
All the billionaires who have been forced to flee the UK are desperate to be welcomed back. Most of them once loved their ancestral homeland.
Perhaps they are willing to pay good money in hope that it can welcome them again.

This billionaire who fled from his once loved ancestral homeland?
What are you talking about?

Christopher Harborne AKA Chakrit Sakunkrit, left the UK in 2011. He doesn't like paying tax.
Strange how some working class support tax avoidance and corruption.

I agree with Polanski, and the arrest/violence should be investigated by the IOPC. The outcome could have been a lot worse than a few bruises around the face.
But I also agree that Polanski was wrong to use twitter or whatever to make his point initially.
All points that Polanski has accepted.

Warey dosent like foreigners
We're talking about a British born dual-national.
He hasn't left his ancestral homeland, he's just tax resident in Thailand, and is a Thai citizen in addition to his UK citizenship.
In order to maintain his tax residency in Thailand, he would need to spend a decent amount of time there each year.

Commie alert.

(like we didn't already know)
Please note the qualifiers:

Many in this forum would have been content, nay happy even, if the worst had happened to the offender.
They fail to consider the cost in financial, social, personal and "policing by consent" aspects.
