i.e. they had a difference so buggered off. They didn't start their own division within the party and corrupt from within, as the many factions within the Labour and Tory party do.

Honestly, I'd prefer Reform to be less NIgel and more open to other ideas. But you definitely can't claim they're divided from within, and whatever they're doing, the electorate are very happy with what they're offering.

Reform's still new. It will evolve, hopefully getting some of those who went away to come back. Who knows, I'm sure they know what they're doing better than I do.

Re form is 100 per cent about Nige, it’s his wholly owned subsidiary. His ball, his pitch, his goalposts. Right wingers love putting all their eggs in one basket. It’s why Habibb left, no meaningful constitution.

I think we agree, that Nigel needs to release his grip a bit.

But he did that with UKIP, and it morphed into basically a recycled National Front. So he's understandably keen to keep control of things.

I'm sure they'll find their feet once they become a government, which is pretty much inevitable now.

One of our friends is a Reform voter - goes to the meetings (I always ask if she wears a white hood and lights the flaming cross, which annoys her but makes me laugh) and she went out delivering leaflets for the recent elections. She likes Reform but says she can't stand Nigel Farage!
