why is loss of freedom of movement in eu seen as a big deal

They will have their own private reasons and barriers to overcome, now, post Brexit.
Yeah. All pìss and wind is their reason. I find that remainers now say they want to do things that they never wanted to do before Brexit but can’t. Because of Brexit. How convenient. If they really wanted to do it, they would.

You could say the same about Brexers.

So we are left with those who'd like to do it, but do not have the means to do it and never did.
Not so. There was never any criteria to meet before, so many could move and live more cheaply in places like Spain.

I'd like to own a Superyacht. Its not Brexit that stopped me.
There were some criteria which you didn't meet.

70%+ of all 65 year olds and older living in the UK can achieve the minimum requirements.
Where do you get you data from?
Or did it come to you in a dream?

It’s in the links provided. Net worth of people at pension age.
Only for those with a pension pot.
Pre Brexit, pensioners without any pension pot were free to migrate to the sun.
An option that with your vote for Brexit you have helped to deny them.

I’m not sure someone without much in the way of savings, assets or pensions can be described as motivated.
People, and especially pensioners were free to migrate to the sun pre Brexit.
A freedom you appear to be pleased with yourself at having helped to deny to them.
