No surprise, they probably did anyway. However just sought out the biggest liars in journalism to plug your leaky moral vacuum.
I'm in favour of Somerset farmers being allowed to farm that land as they have done for thousands of years.

No #1 - I do not expect farming to still be done in the way it was done thousands, or hundreds, or even decades ago.
No #2 - I do not think that allowing farmers to do whatever the hell they like is remotely acceptable.
