I never knew that colour alone determined the footprint of a Egg.

Morrisons and Waitrose break silence on brown eggs as Sainsbury’s stops selling them | UK | News | Express.co.uk https://share.google/4Z2LAOr3rcTNTfkwR

Do Sainsbury's really care? Is it a loss leader type tactic to pull in the environmentalists?

Some folk say brown eggs taste better - others say white eggs look tastier.

There is no difference at all between them.

I buy my eggs from Lidl and often, they are white shelled. However, they seem to have gone down in quality lately and the yolks are getting paler and paler. I still buy eggs from Lidl but I now buy the golden yolk ones. They only come in a brown shell.

I go to Sainsbury's because I think its the best of the lot.

Yet Ill pop into Asda to buy a Kefir drink that's polish and alot cheaper than the other supermarkets. I have to spend £5 to get free parking. I end up spending more money while im there.

Is the Kefir a loss leader?

The environmentalists are a big chunk of this countries population. Will they be impressed with Sainsbury's egg policy.

Clever marketing or Do they really care?
