Nigel Farage and Makerfield

Surely you cannot be so ignorant that you actually believe this? FaRage has conned millions of people into voting to damage trade with our largest group of importers and exporters which is wiping many billions off of the economy every year, and he's tried his best to stoke up racial hatred and has divided the nation. He's blatantly corrupt and will say literally anything for money, and he's sympthises with our greatest enemies.
Farage is the opitome of treachery, and his cultists are traitors.

So by that logic, I take it the Tories didn't want to stop it either?

Tories and Labour are the same party since Blair. We are in what is known as Blairism. The rivalry between the two parties is just play acting.

Illegal immigration surged after the Brexit transition period ended. Brexit which Farage campaigned so hard for. So I'd say Farage is the is the man of mass immigration,

Tony Blair and his government started mass immigration to this country, you cannot talk your way around that. When he was in power, his supporters were pro- mass immigration. When the Tories got in and continued it, the Labour supporters opposed it. It's all a game between the two, at the expense of the suffering population.

Meanwhile the Torygraph is smearing Re store for their alleged connection to extremists. The Torygraph Fail and Xpress should reflect on their key role in the rise of the right.

Are you suggesting that Re form manipulate social media to get their message across?
They think their voters are too stupid to notice or too mindlessly loyal to care about a few lies here and there. All for the greater good of Trussing the economy.

You sound like a victim of a cult religion.

There are pros and cons of leaving the EU. The EU and the world has changed since we left, the EU is now struggling, just as we are and would be if we'd remained in it.

Anyway, it's not a Brexit thread, and of no relevance to this subject at all.

The Boris wave was intentional, by the previous government. It was not related to Brexit, it was the government's policy, mostly as a result of them panicking due to covid.

"The right" has always been there. It's the balance to "the left".

You do remember that we've had long runs of Tory governments for the 1980s and 2010s? People have always voted right, it's nothing new and nothing to pretend is something dramatic.

The bond yields are now way worse than when Truss was PM. That's why Starmer has stopped mentioning her, as the comparisons are not good.

The economy is going to be thoroughly "Trussed" tonight or tomorrow if Burnham wins Makerfield.

The bond markets aren't political, they just care whether we're spending within our means. Burnham has promised massive amounts of unfunded spending.

The government may go bankrupt before Burnham even challenges Starmer for leadership.

Your history is a wee bit skewed. For centuries those with money, wealth and power told the poor, the weak, the slaves and the workers - what to do, what they were never allowed to own and that they had no say so how the country was run.
The left balanced that out.

I find many of the video/photo ops that politicians do almost laughable. And I mean from all parties. When you think about seeing them doing stuff like drinking in pubs to show they're one of the people, driving tanks cause they're doing so much (or promising to) for defence, walking around hospitals with their sleeves rolled up cause they're doing so much (or promising to) for the NHS, talking to kids in a school to show they're relatable etc, it's a joke.

Correlate all this to what they eventually deliver ;)
