99s for 99p ?
99s for 99p ?

ReportedBut will this £2 cap help the desperately poor - they can't use buses as you can't smoke on them
Rubbish. They never budgeted for Digital ID anyway. No, he’s spending the money not yet spent.
Maybe at some point he'll be able to get a better deal with the EU as a first stepping stone to recouping that £90bn+ per year currently being lostseems he’s found a magic money tree.
I guess we will find out who that is later.
What are you on about? It's not a giant shadowy conspiracy.Has it never occurred to you that "the bond markets" are doing very well for their backers just the way things are, and they'll employ any tactic they can to maintain the status quo?

cutting spending
It's nothing to do with what anyone thinks about working classes or whatever. It's just whether we're living within our means, and we are definitely not doing.I never said it was shadowy. It is in plain sight.
And you've completely ignored my fundamental point: they like things just the way they are, and God forbid that the plebs get any uppish delusions.
There are alternatives to the bond markets.
Like there are alternatives to the petrodollar.
And the both are going to fight like hell to keep the alternatives from getting the upper hand.
The thing you call "austerity" was actually the recovery from the previous Labour government's financial catastrophe. There wasn't an easy way out of it, but it would have been massively worse if spending hadn't been reduced.Tell me what happened to our debt under austerity.

I like the £2 bus cap and makes sense that majority of that money to pay for it is coming from reallocated Department for Net Zero funds.
Saves people money and cuts car journeys.

I thought this bloke was the Messiah.. a game changer... A revelation.
