It has been the best investment we have made, we sleep at 18 deg each night and during the day it is lovely to cool down in the house. We let a few of the old pensioners we know well that live in our village to sit in during the day when it was really hot whilst we are out. I couldn't be without it now, I am sure it will become like the rest of europe soon and be installed in new housing as standard.I’ve never seen a house with air conditioning, it must be cost a fortune

Very thoughtful of you.In the winter is blast my heating and the old couple over the road sit there shivering.

I've been raking my beige lawn today, clearing out all the thatch, as it was resembling, well, a thatched roof, and they don't let in much water.Ideal conditions for flooding with the ground so hard and dry.
Upstairs?Chucking it down up here just now, been raining for a few hours.

Gives a chance for your moat to refillRaining quite heavily here in my liitle hamlet. Can't remember the last time it did.

Exactly, we was about to get a tanker in to start topping up.Gives a chance for your moat to refill![]()

It looked like rainWhat was it?

Scotland..... it always rains in ScotlandUpstairs?
Actually no, not over recent weeks. Not had it as bad as down south but a good few weeks have come and gone with virtually no rain. Thankfully been a bit of a break, hopefully you'll get the same soon.Scotland..... it always rains in Scotland

Rain is for whimps. The reason why our beef is the best in the world is down to the strict dust diet our cows feed on.Actually no, not over recent weeks.
