Replacing cast iron bend with limited space

Hi all,

I need to replace what believe is a 1 1/4" waste elbow, serving a basin. Installation circa 1960.

I think it was cast iron. ID 33mm, OD 38mm (Of the pipe inside the remains of the fitting )

As you can see, the part coming out of the wall doesn't have much space.

Attached is a photo of a very similar setup a couple of metres away.

Any help appreciated as to what to use, I have found some rubber fittings with jubilee clips, but hope there is something a bit neater.

Can you replace to outside in pvc? If not, any room to cut and get a universal coupling on and take to outside in pvc? Probably what has been done in the 2nd photo.

Cannot really replace to outside as it’s under the floor. I could get a universal on if I cut the render out.

The second photo is I believe original. I suspect it will fail next as well!
