I have never heard of a Christian or a Sikh or a Hindu being forbidden to pray in a slaughterhouse, or anywhere else. Please tell us the examples you have witnessed of it not being allowed.

They don't pray during the slaughter. Just muslims, as far as I know.

It isn't banned from them praying, however only exeptions for religious animal slaughter is Halal and Koscher meat, Jews and Muslims. It doesn't cover any other religion.

Sikhs do a straight off with its head one clean blow to cut down on suffering. I don't think Jews should be allowed to do un-stunned either.

It is true, Only Muslims and Jews are allowed kill animals without pre stunning them first. They have a very cruel streak in them regards this. You may not accept that this is the case but it is UK Law.

Nope, it's part of the Jewish method too. No surprise as islam basically inherited it from Judaism.

Thanks for that. Id read a couple of googles that said Jews didn't. Just found some others that said yes they do pray at the beginning of every shift. Praying to an imaginary thing in tbe sky when you kill a cow. Odd.

A lot of the religious guidance was basically good hygiene practices that they'd stumbled across using trial and error before germ theory was invented. They just threw in a load of mystical mumbo jumbo as well.

Just saw post saying that Muslims can eat kosher and Jews Halal. I find that odd as the wrong team did the praying but if its true, nice touch.
