Hi folks, newbie here that I would really like some advice on as it is driving me insane. My wife decided she wanted a tumble dryer (I know the bills are going to go up but happy wife, happy life eh?) so my utility depth is not the standard depth. I have found the least depth rumble dryer I could find and it just about fits beside the washing machine but the problem I have now is the door hinges on the left hand side as I don't have enough space to reattach the concealed hinge bracket back on the base unit. I could possibly move the the top one further up on the door itself but my problem is the bottom one. i cannot move the units to the right due to the concealed sewer pipe running down at the back on the right hand side. I did think about building a frame around the front of the cabinets but that would mean the door width would be protruding out the top. Before you say 'get a curtain" or get a new wife, they are both not an option at the moment! Any other hinges that I am unaware of the would work here? Thanks folks.

Don’t normally hang doors in front of free standing units because standard door are too narrow, or do you have bespoke doors?

If you have correct size doors.
You would need a strip of 18mm timber to hang the doors on as correctly you have nothing .

My mum has a free standing washing machine behind a door.
The fitter used the following

It works very well. To remove the machine you just need to remove the screws that hold the metal frame to the carcase.
The only downside is that you only have up/down and left/right adjustment on the hinges but the metal bracket allows back and forth adjustment.

My mum replaced her Meile with a newer model and complained that it stuck out too far for the cabinet door to be rehung. I pushed my tape measure in to check the depth of the lid and the depth of the cavity. It turned out that the bulge on the back of the washing machine extended past the lid.
I had to hack away the plaster (about 50?mm). Ugly, but as you say, invisible.
