Can’t get WM seal off front Hotpoint WMAL641

Hotpoint Aquarius WMAL641

Contrary to videos I’ve watched this machine doesn’t seem to have a band of any sort visible to remove for the front seal. I can see the inside one has the usual looking band.

Is it glued on,!?!

Aye, I can’t understand it at all. Definitely not in a crevice around the perimeter like I expected
