The door seal on our hotpoint aquarius 1100 wm63 machine has a large tear and needs replacing.
Is it possible to do this job ourselves and if so does anyone have any advice on how to do it?
I've tried looking information but can't find anything specific to this machine.
Thanks!

This has probably been covered many times before on here but the search facility does not seem to work too well ( I did a search for Hotpoint Door Seal and got 590 matches, mostly not even Hotpoint threads).
The Hotpoint door seal is easy to fit as you can remove the cabinet front for better access. Take off the plinth trim panel and remove the 3 screws along the bottom edge of the cabinet front. remove the soap drawer and the fascia screws thus exposed, prise off the plastic clip for the external door seal retaining wire, remove the wire and peel the seal away from the cabinet front, pull off the timer knob. With the On/Off button pushed in the fascia panel can be pulled away at the soap drawer end and pushed to the right slightly to unhook it from the cabinet. With the fascia loose you can now remove the 3 screws along the top edge of the cabinet front and lift it away. This will reveal the interior clamp band that retains the seal to the outer drum.
