I need a bit of advice.
The g/f and I moved into our first home a few months back, and I have been looking to put some TRVs on my rads, and while I have the system drained use the opportunity replace an old rad.
I went ahead and ordered the rad and 5 TRVs online, they've arrived today and I've realised my mistake...they, and the rad are all 15mm, and (although I'm at work now and am not 100% sure) I'm confident I have an 8mm Microbore setup back home.
Can I just get some 15-8mm compression reducers, or will I have to send all the stuff back and order 8mm ones?
I specifically say compression fittings as I'm not entirely sure about soldering copper. I've only ever done electronics soldering, and i'm not really sure that translates
Thanks in advance for any help.
