I've got to replace a Drayton Tempus Three , which has always been faulty ( won't allow its-self to be programmed & needs manually switching on every day )

.......... easy question I hope ,

(I have, oil CH, HW Cylinder & Thermostat )

what unit should I replace it with?.... which products are the industry standard?

Thanks

Many ACL, drayton, horstmann, landis and gyr, siemens, are the same. ALways best to change the backplate anyway because the connections are carp.

Thanks for the very quick response Chris,

Re: backplate, are these a seperate order?

No they come with the new thing, but even if the new front fits the old back, it's better to change it. Wires will be in the same positions though. To be honest as long as you make notes, you can use any new one you like very easily. WHatever went to "CH ON" on the old one goes to "CH ON" on the new one, etc!
