Flue lengths available on oil boiler

S

sturharv

Does anyone know of any oil fired condensing boilers that has a concentric flue capable of running vertical up-to 8 metres in length? Struggling abit as I have a plant room to get from with no outside wall available.

I have heard of the Exhausto type chimney fans that you fit onto the end of an open flue, this allows you to run further with the flue but it is quite expensive and it looks abit ugly stuck up there on the end of the flue, has anyone used one before?

Grant votex are ok up to 12 meters.
Using bends will reduce this length.

You asumed wrong.

Each to their own. Must be doing something right coz none have let me down. Could be down to the way we correctly install and commission and service them :D and registered to do so :!:

Not denying they are not the easiest to install.

So what due install then?

Im registered with oftec i dont install and run i have installed these and not to bad but to commission and goto breakdowns on these are a pig
If you are a sevice breakdown engineer we dont need to tell you why...

For me i like the grant so much room to work on and engineer friendly

I love the w gas boilers wish they stuck to them ;)

I realise that you are from Wales and therefore must spend an appreciable amount of time chasing nervous sheep.

May I suggest you study the ENGLISH language instead!

Does "So what due install then" translate into "Which boilers do you install"?

IF so then I install Grant boilers!!

Prior to the takeover and rundown by WB etc .
I was a service agent and avid fan of Boulter!

Feck knows what happened to the qquote function!!

Not here to pass insults or sarcastic comments, if you chose to do so then so be it. Always plenty like you out there.

God only knows what impression you give persons posting on this sight.
They must be thinking, what a load of arrogant louts.

Thanks,

I had a look at Grant's website but I think the flues which allow you to run upto 12 m can only be used on there condensing boilers upto 26kW.

I meant to say there needs to be 2 boilers each having around 50kW on this job. Grant and Worcester have boiler of this size but I am unsure what flue lengths available, I would prefer to keep away from an open flue.

Any suggestions?
