Anyone know where the GC number is located on the Turbomax please.

Looked everywhere :(

iirc the data badges for both turbomax models is on the internal side of the control panel.

If its not on the data badge then it may not be printed. Partscenter told me the GC numbers for vaillants are useless to them anway.

any reason in particular?

Doing an assignment and need to access GC numbers on boilers in order to find out their efficiency.

Been on the Sedbuk site but there is a few Turbomaxes to choose from. :(

Turbomax plus (around 5-7 years old) sedbuk band D

79.6% -24kw
79.7%-28kw

This is from the MI. I dont have any for the original turbomax.

Thanks Rob.

Where do you normally find the GC numbers on the boilers?

Our trainer forgot to show us. :(

As i said GC numbers are listed on the technical data badges. Which all boilers have. Some give more details than others

The data badge for the 824/2e & 828/2e is on the rear of the control panel

All the ones I've ever seen was on the back of the control panel petit_pablo

For what it's worth all the Turbo max's seem to be 79.7%

I was just describing roughly where the Gc was on data badge. Previous posts have already stated its on the back of control panel, i didnt feel the need to put that in my post too :D

Tha data badge on these is usually on the back of the PCB carry (it flops down when you undo the screw to the top left!.

Also if memory serves the GC number is usually on a sticker on the bottom of the combustion chamber. when you drop the PCB carrier down.

I hope this helps Bahco

We are not allowed to use any tools on a survey. Are you saying that most boilers will have the GC number accessible or do you have totake covers off etc?

Easy then, if the installation manual isn't with the boiler, you can't do the survey.

Next job
