I bought a Buddleia Davidii last year, planting it indoors initially before transferring it outside last summer. Here's a pic of it at the moment:
I'd ideally love to keep the Buddleia at a height a few inches above the fence but I don't want to be pruning the plant too much if that is going to affect the flowering on it.
Any advice on how I can keep the bush at a controlled level but so that it does flower to it's maximum potential? Just to also let you know that it hasn't flowered as yet given that it was only planted last season
