To give an idea of what I'm looking at controlling / monitoring attached a couple schematics of current system. All running ok, just looking for rasberry pi to control / monitor / log, plus would give easy access to view via smart phone.

Should install ridge vents if the insulation is all around the circumference of the roof. I did loft conversion many years ago, then a few years later I looked into ventilation and fitted 4no ventilated slates(the type you use for air extract from bathrooms) to save replacing the ridge tiles...

Just changed bearings on 15/19 worchester bosch heatslave, bearings have done well considering age of 15+yrs, very easy to change, thought the bearings where going to be a pig to get off, but 2 screwdrivers to lever them and they slid off easy. Motor came apart very easy, new bearings slid on...
