Noisy floorboards upstairs. I have noticed the floorboards have become noisy when walking on them and some are lifting, even make cracking noises when not walking on them. What trade do i need to check if anything is going on underneath? Do i need a joiner or a builder?

I don't but can feel when walking that there are bumps where there didn't used to be and can also see a few raised spots

If you have cowls fitted, do you need any kind of testing afterwards?

Not had others yet. I just know somebody who paid hundreds just to have chimney re flashed.

Does anybody else think this sounds awfully cheap? Re gutter the back of the house. Supply and fit new drain pipe. Supply and fit 2 new gas cowls. Refix lead on chimney stack and on front porch £395
