    Flattening scaffold board desk

Just a quick update for those that may find this thread through Google in months/years. I got a 1mm aluminium sheet as per the idea from a few posts above and it works really well at levelling off the area under the mouse pad. Very low-cost solution with no further work required on the wood...

    Flattening scaffold board desk

Thanks for the suggestion, I might look at a second-hand one from a marketplace. If not for this job, for future. This sounds like a nice idea but I don't have a router. Moreover, it would make the mouse mat semi-permanent and if I chose to move from the left of the desk to the middle (220cm...

    Flattening scaffold board desk

Thanks. This was my first thought, to workaround the problem. Initially, the grain and knots were so variable that the hard mouse mat rocked. In the same way my keyboard (feet) do! I then remembered why I don't like hard mouse pads and have ditched them previously, not enough friction because...

    Flattening scaffold board desk

Good morning, I have a desk that is made from three scaffolding boards biscuit jointed together. Whilst it looks lovely and despite being sanded by the supplier, the desk isn’t completely flat, rising and falling around the grain and knots. This isn’t ideal for some of the computer mice...

    Decomissioning Honeywell Thermostat

Hello everyone, I have a Honeywell thermostat that I would like to decommission as we have a tado smart heating system. I had in my notes that the model is a T6360B1028 but looking at the user manual for the T6360, the wiring diagram doesn’t quite match up. In order for the tado system to...

Main Eco Elite to tado receiver wiring help 2

Thanks. If it's not already obvious, I'm inexperienced with electrics and whilst I've had a bit of advice, I'm still practicing extreme caution and double checking before I do anything understanding the risk/consequence of wiring incorrectly. To that end, I'm really grateful for your guidance in...

Main Eco Elite to tado receiver wiring help 2

No, i didn't do anything with the wires connected to the previous Honeywell thermostat other than secure. Now I think about it, there's no return to the Drayton/tado wireless receiver. So to confirm, join red to yellow? Using something like this?

Main Eco Elite to tado receiver wiring help 2

Goodness, I tried to be as detailed as possible in my first post and neglected to mention one key thing... I have disconnected the Honeywell T6360B1028 thermostat, securing the wires with wagos. I should try rewiring that back in as it was before, turn it up to the max and test? Thanks

Main Eco Elite to tado receiver wiring help 2

Hello everyone, I have recently bought and attempted to install a tado smart heating system to our flat and I've run into an issue. Having searched Google, I found this thread on this forum with a similar question. I didn't want to re-open it after two year so I am creating a new post in the...
