I bought a TCT core drill (70mm) from Screwfix and a Diamond core cutter from a local tool shop, also 70mm. Using a Toshiba 850 watt drill, on drill action only, ( not hammer) I burnt the diamond core drill going through two bricks. Where did I go wrong ?? Was the drill speed too high...

    Tracking copper pipes into wall

When using foam, is it possible to reuse at a later stage if only a small amount has been dispensed. In the past I have used a can and it has solidified. Seems such a waste considering it is not exactly cheap to buy a can. Any ideas welcome

    Core Cutters

I use core cutters , usually 80mm Dia . My question is: The heavy duty drill I use only has hammer action. Is it safe to use a core cutter in a hammer action, or does this damage the core cutter.

The vent on the big red expansion vessel is used to "repressurise" the vessel ONLY. Do not bleed anything from that. Valiant has another bleed port, often to the top right hand corner. Looks like a small grenade, ( best way I can describe it) You can bleed that port by slightly pressing the...
