Question please, our front door was profesionally fitted, however after 5 yrs it only keeps out the weather drafts, after we pull up the handle as if we are going to lock it. Is this right as we did not notice this problem over the last years!!!???

Just a thought, were the charcoal filters removed if the extractor is vented to the outside? if not take them out, they should only be fitted if recycling the air, but they are fitted in the factory for shipping and many people forget to remove.

Not sure for a ladder unit, a under worktop unit must have end panels between the oven and units (20mm) each side. Ask the kitchen suppliers for advice on the regs. It surely can't butt up tight!!!otherwise the ladder side panel(white edge to unit), or ladder end panel( if fitted) will overheat...

Fitting hood myself, it recommends 3M max hose, -1m for every bend at 90 degrees. Do the instructions rate the fan in your hood for max length + bends etc? These fans SUCK not blow, so you need to fit matching fans or one will out perform the other, 10 l per minute is a lot. It's the same...

When you find where the pipes are touching, try some foam filler if the areas are out of reach. This will fill the gaps and secure the pipes. Does work.

Thanks, can it be fitted into a cupboard next to the cooker? or does it have to be external mounted?

Does anyone know if there is an IEE reg about the maximum distance between cooker and red isolation switch?
