Vent Cover - Gas Meter Cupboard

I wish to replace the vent covers on my gas meter cupboard. It does not have to be the exact same replacement, either circle or square and not too big. Any suggestions where I can purchase one from?

    Door Handle Damaged Through Fixture

I emailed the manufacturer, Assa Abloy and they were kind enough to send me some new screws and bolts. It did the trick, as the new bolts are slightly larger and were able to grip onto the hole. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

    Door Handle Damaged Through Fixture

I think this maybe the only option other than replacing this particular handle. I am using the screws and bolts originally supplied.

    Door Handle Damaged Through Fixture

Yes, the screw and bolt are already the perfect length. Unfortunately the issue is with the hole on the handle itself, it is slightly larger than the screw/bolt head.

    Door Handle Damaged Through Fixture

Somehow one of the screw holes on the door handle became slightly larger and is not allowing the screw head to grab on to it. I thought the screw might have been the problem and changed it with the same result. This door handle is secured with a bolt on one end and screw from the other side...

Blackout Roller Blinds - Front Mount

Thanks for all the suggestions so far. I have considered the options and decided on adding a wooden batten to attach the roller blinds. Are there any recommendations on how much wider a wooden batten should be?

Blackout Roller Blinds - Front Mount

Thanks for the suggestions. I have decided to simply front mount the roller blinds onto the battens. My next question is; how wide should the battens be? The full width of the windows are 114cm. Also, what is the best size for the battens, 2x1?

Blackout Roller Blinds - Front Mount

I am planning on installing two blackout roller blinds onto my sash windows. I previously tried with the blinds installed onto the inner window frame, leaving the architrave exposed. Although I liked the look, sunlight was passing through the top and both sides. I was thinking of attaching a...

    New Bedroom Door Painted

I wanted to use the Zinsser primer as it's what I had left over from another paint job. I had the door sanded and painted, it looks much better than before!

    New Bedroom Door Painted

Thanks for everyone's response. I think I will need to fill the wood and sand it afterwards. I have no idea what the painter did to this door, it was raw but very smooth before.

    New Bedroom Door Painted

I hired a painter from MyBuilider to paint my bedroom including the door which was newly installed. The door came primed from the store but the edge was raw after the carpenter had to trim it. I asked the painter to use 'Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Primer-Sealer" and apply Dulux Acrylic Gloss. I...
