Yes it is. tried painting a very dark purple over it a few times, then white and then the new wall colour again, and it’s still showing through. Can’t be certain that the wall is completely flat but can see the streak face on, not just from a side as if the light was reflecting for example

Hi there We have some very thin cracks above and below some of the windows in our house (1980s). Tried to fill one a few weeks ago and then painted one coat so far but the crack has reappeared - see photo. What is the best way to deal with these? Thanks

Hi John, Thanks for the info - I’ve taken it out and measured - see photos. Looks like 2.5 inch width, and 45mm from keyhole. The key itself says Legge on one side and H42 on other. Do these measurements all point to one particular type of lock? Thanks
