VIDEO: Can anyone identify this boiler behaviour?

Thanks @gigz can you post the link to this manual? I can't find it from searching.

VIDEO: Can anyone identify this boiler behaviour?

Thanks @gigz - do you mean drain the heat exchanger?

VIDEO: Can anyone identify this boiler behaviour?

I recently removed a radiator and capped off the pipework. When I refilled the system, the combiboiler (Promax) seems to have air in it and makes a "clunking" noise when supplying hot water. VIDEO HERE: Both hot water and central heating work fine, although the hot feed no longer consistently...

    What is this alarm wiring?

@EightyTwo - this is the original alarm wire to the control panel, not a lighting circuit. The other end originally just terminates elsewhere in the house, which is near a socket (no longer has an appliance on the end). I was going to wire it to the 12V adapter that came in the kit and then...

    What is this alarm wiring?

Thanks. I have purchased a new system, which required 12V / 500mA. Do you think I could use the existing in-wall lighting to carry this load?

    What are these called?

I need to fix some new kitchen cabinet hinges, but need to find some new versions of these "caps" that fit into pre-drilled holes. Without them, the screws don't have enough depth for traction. Anybody know what they are called? I can't find them online anywhere! Thanks

    How is this done?

If its wired from the socket, when I switch the circuit the socket is on off, won't the light also turn off? This is what appears to be happening.

    How is this done?

Could this be in the junction box?

Why is my lighting circuit at 20V?

@flameport, thanks. The light circuit is on though, and the lamp works - could this be Capacitive Coupling? Why am i not reading 240V (other than possibly using the voltmeter wrong!)?

    How is this done?

It's "always on", i.e. the lamp itself is the only on/off, so I assume from the socket? The lamp is rated "230VAC 50hz 12VA", does that mean it can come straight from the mains with no transformer?

    How is this done?

I have an under-cabinet light, that appears to be connected to the mains. I'm curious - what is actually happening here? Is this likely a [transformer box?] wired in [parallel?] to the socket below? Is it a common setup for under-cabinet lights? If I want to do this on more cabinets, is...

Why is my lighting circuit at 20V?

I have just started to learn to use a 2-prong voltmeter. I've been testing the lighting pendants I have around the house, and one is at 20V, whereas the others are at 240V. Is this usual / is there a reason this is happening?

    What is this alarm wiring?

I've just moved into a new flat and inherited parts of an old wired alarm system. This controller is on the wall, but when I test the wires the power appears to be dead. What would these wires usually supply? Not 240v? Typically, where should I expect them to connect to? Can I use this wiring...

Can pipes under a combi boiler be moved?

Thanks Dan. Would it take much effort to have the crossing pipes moved further up so I can fit the appliance underneath? I am imagining this is a simple "cut here... weld here", or is it way more complicated than that? ** Edit ** Crossing pipes, Magna-Clean and tap moved further up (under the...

Can pipes under a combi boiler be moved?

I have just bought a flat, which has the pictured combi boiler installed in an airing cupboard. As shown in the photo, the installation has a large number of crossing pipes, some of which appear to go down under the floor and some of which go right to the kitchen (and towards the gas meter)...
