Just viewed a house for sale and discovered a window that had been bricked up on the inner leaf only, i.e., the frame and glass were still in place in the outer leaf. Surely this cannot, in any way, be building regs compliant? Has anyone come across this before? We will be having a full survey!!!

I see now I wasn't clear, yes I want to drain the pipework, as I am replacing a couple of rads but also need to rejig some of the pipework. Two small rooms have been knocked into one but they left both (1970s) rads and ugly pipework. I am replacing with a single modern rad.
