    Fireplace reveal repair

It is slightly bowed as the bricks in the fireplace are bowed and the plaster is just following the line of the bricks if that makes sense

    Fireplace reveal repair

Hi everyone. Had the whole room plastered but plasterer didn’t bother with making the fireplace reveal tidy as he was out of beads and this was in the height of lockdown with no where open so I said not to worry as we are getting a new fireplace fitted. Situation has changed and we’re no...

laying engineered wood floor onto timber suspended floor

Hello everyone just a quick update. I’ve laid the plywood down and feathered all joints and slight ridges between boards to get everything as level as I can get it with stopgap500. I’m just wondering where to start the installation. I’ve attached a picture of my room and the picture of the...

    Trim/beading where staircase meets ceiling

Have overboarded an old lath and plaster ceiling in my hallway as couldn’t be bothered with the mess of ripping it down. Now the Plasterboard sits proud of the staircase trim, Have no idea if it’s exact name! Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to cover the exposed edge of the...

Cracked plaster and cracked brickwork behind it

Hello all, new here! Recently purchased a project house and learning on the job at the minute. It’s a 1930s end of terrace. In one of the bedrooms there’s a crack in the plaster under the window, plaster pretty much just fell and can see the brickwork behind is cracked. Have done some googling...
