Moved into a new house and I discovered that one of the radiators is cold at the top and warm at the bottom. When I went to bleed the radiator I put the key in but whilst turning the bleed screw it broke and now I cant turn it... its flush inside. Any other way to bleed the radiator?

Hmm well I set the tabs for 2 hours of hot water, had a shower (works off the boiler) and it didnt appear to have worked.. however after I had the shower the boiler was on but it wasnt during its set timer period. Thermostat in action I think. Is my timer busted ? Surley it shouldnt come...
