Well it took a month to arrive from China but installed and working via an eBay purchase. 10 min job to swap it!

Took a punt on one of the chineses sellers.... delivery is up to 5 weeks though doh! Only £5 though.... inc postage!

I have no idea whether mine is varnished or simply a sadolin type finish. I am even thinking of just taking the skirting boards all off and renewing tbh. Wouldn't it ne lovely if there was a simple primer that painted straight onto it as a base for my gloss finish (not water based :o) )
