    Tidied the wires up all good now. And yes I know the socket will go off when the lights off but it's always on due to how dark it is.

    The fuse spur has a 13a fuse in it

    ;) The fused spur switches the light on, I did think is it only going to work when the lights on, but whenever I'm in there the lights always on due to how dark it is. I only want the socket there to out a WiFi adapter and it'll be handy for cleaning the car.

    Tbh I got frustrated with it, not alot of room, couldnt get my fingers in I'll sort it tomorrow at least I know it's the wiring when I close it up it trips.

    I'll trim them tomorrow it's hard to get the right length with such little space I don't know how sparkies do it. It was the only way I could see if it was working before screwing in. I think it's a loose wire as the lights flicker. I've turned it off at the fuse on the main board until...

    Well I've had no joy connected up the additional wiring to L out and N out and tripped the whole house. Could the tripping be a wire? It works fine until I close the spur up so I'm thinking maybe something loose?

    Hi I'm adding a double socket and piggybacking off the 13amp fuse spur Am i right in thinking the new brown and blue wires go in L out (brown) N out (blue) what is the thin copper exposed wire?

    So the kitchen and living room are now red hot ive just 1/4 turned the hallway and downstairs bathroom and there heating up

    I could press it down and it looks like the ones which are hot. I'm having another go this time just the downstairs living room radiator and kitchen both are heating up atm, ‍all the others are turned off.
