    Just to add- I need to blank off / cap off and then hopefully plaster over. The pipe comes out of kitchen wall and fed old outside lavi - victorian house.

    What should I lay? Concrete?

    Just knocked out old outside loo on our victoria terrace- no issues there. This gives us a 25% bigger kitchen! :wink: The floor after clearing the old tiles had a thin layer of concrete, below which is a sand and rubble mixture. I need to level to meet the same level as my kitchen floor but...
