Lead Pipe problem

Philmac blank coupling or a soldered cap.

Depends on what the lead is being used for though?

get yourself a leadlock fitting they normally either go to 15mm or 1/2 bsp be carefull not to leave a long dead leg cut it back as short as you can you might have to take a small peice of the lead with you as there are 3 sizes

Leadlock is best option mate (in my opinion), just don't turn the fitting turn the nut when tightening or it can destroy the fitting

Make sure the lead is burr free after you cut it, lead lock depends on a rubber o-ring as part of the seal, cut this with a bit of sharp lead and your sunk till you get a new o-ring.....

Basically, get a spare with the fitting!

Thanks guys- the leadlock seems a good plan- I guess available at most plumbers stores?

Many thanks again! :D
