Thanks Breezer for quick reply. Did not think of dirt lodging behind glass. What do you suggest as a sealent? Do you mean clear silicone or something similar.
I have stone tiles on the wall behind the cooker. Although they have been sealed I would like to put a clear glass splash back directly behind the cooker to protect the tiles further. Can it be screwed on through the tiles?
Would I get the glass from a glazier? Grateful for any advice.
Thank you moderator for stepping in. I keep getting e-mails to let me know that there is a a reply to my original question, only to find that it is these too having a go at each other again. Did I join for this? It is so time wasting and intensely annoying.
The flooring in my utility room is chipboard and I wish to ceramic tile it. Is covering it with plywood the best way? I would be grateful for any advice on this proceedure.
