Nothing in the instructions fault finding, just an explanation of an error code if there is no water flowing to the unit, nothing about too much!
I did try turning the unit on and switiching the steam function on but it kept flowing so turned it off smartish. I assumed there is a solenoid...
Not sure whats going on but I connected up a steam shower yesterday (Villeroy & Boch) and when opening the water valve (cold side) I heard the steam generator filling and then water just poured from the steam outlet......no steam of course as I had not even activated the steam function, but its...
Mysteryman, yes indeed I mean the ignition lockout, my mistake sorry.
I have a qualified gassafe chap in maintanence at work who is willing to look at it but he knows absolutely nothing about domestic boilers, the boilers he works on supply hot water for a 40 acre industrial site, maybe...
No, its been working fine all summer heating the hot water, last week I turned the central heating on as well and now the ignition cutout keeps activating again.
Best regards David
Our boiler played up last winter and it was repaired (term loosely used) by a local tradesperson (term very loosely used) , the original problem was the ignition cutout coming on regulary, he replaced virtually every board and control box in the boiler and cleaned the burner. It cost me about...
I have a problem with the small plastic roller bearings top and bottom of the shower door they gradually wear and fall apart, I have replaced them twice before by just ringing Aquadart and they sent replacements out FOC. Unfortuantely now the company that took over the name refuses to honour...
I actually found the small ball from the valve in the trap, took the PRD pipe assembly off and popped it back in......all working fine again now.
And before anyone says it'll blow up now I tested PRD assembly on my compressor air tank and it blows at about 20psi, not much at all and as a...
Thanks for the reply, it looks to me that the PRD valve is within the heater element unit, the "overflow" pipe comes out of the heater uniter just behind the main shower head outlet, not a seperate valve it seems!
Although looking on the Triton website the later showers have the PRD valve...
Hi, we have a Trtion electric shower, this morning it started leaking from behind the water outlet, upon investigation it appears there is a PRD safety valve which opens in event of a blockage in the shower hose or head (both of which have been removed for the investigation, there is just the...
Had a look under the cover on the CH motorised valve and although using the manual lever does not travel far enough to activate the microswitch, with the cover off I can see that when the valve is eletronically motorised the vlavle inside travels enough to activate the microswitch, so I am...
OK so the rads start going cold after about an hour or so with just the HW turned on, if I then switch the CH on there is a motorised noise from the CH valve and the rads get hot.
This early morning thing is my puzzler, if there is a microswitch in the CH valve is it possible this is not...
