    Well I now feel a bit stupid! It beeps when it is first touched, so I took that as the "handshake", but yes you are right. It needs to be held on for 5 seconds. After all the complicated stuff (imo) that I have done with the system, I got stumped on 5 seconds!! Thanks for your help.

    Forgive me if I am wrong, but they have joined the flow and return together. So I have one for leave as it is, and one for cut it and cap it (both suggest replacing the t's). If I don't replace the T's , should I leave as is, or cap off - builders have done this and planning to plasterboard...
