Pooling On New EPDM Flat Roof

I don't think it's firestone. There outlets are finished different unless these installers haven't fitted them correctly.

Pooling On New EPDM Flat Roof

If that was me, I'd have out in 3 outlets. One on each end and one in the centre. This would have eliminated this. Nothing can be done now. If the EPDM is on properly then it won't leak however they should have atleast sloped the timber in the direction of the outlet. Any other pics of it.

Vapor barrier over parapet and plastic thermal fixings

Woody I do know sales men could sell you anything. But think about this for a second. The vapor barrier is to stop all moisture from entering the roof space and to stop the hot air condensing, which creates issues that are very difficult to rectify! Osb is screwd or nailed to the firrings...

Vapor barrier over parapet and plastic thermal fixings

Resutrix rep recommended it to go up a parapet as long as its primed. It seals the location better where the wall meets the roof is what they suggest which tbh woody, it does make sense. You'll understand if you've ever used it. But again, thank you for your input. It is well appreciated.

Vapor barrier over parapet and plastic thermal fixings

Yes, with the information I have gained on it I do understand this. One thing woody, I disagree with the vapor barrier not going up the parapet. If the VB stops at the osb where it meets the block wall, surely one would get some seeping at this detail. Going up the parapet makes sense although...

Vapor barrier over parapet and plastic thermal fixings

My understanding is the vcl stops any moisture/vapor from entering the roof and destroying the osb. A very important detail on a warm roof.

Vapor barrier over parapet and plastic thermal fixings

I did consider this but choose to go with mechanically fixings rather than chemical. I do understand it does pierce the VB however this is a bitumen VB which when you pierce it, it self seals from the information I've gatherer on it. I am using plastic thermal tube fixings for securing the...

150mm cavity built in concrete block. Inner faced top two blocks are thermal blocks. Cavity closed off above with 50mm Kingsland insulation . Amy gaps foamed insulation. Cavity pumped with beads. 9x2 built into the blocks either side. Firrings on top of 9x2. 18mm osb ontop of fittings...

    Flat roof puddle

Strange why he didn't have a fall on that although puddling on flt roofs is common and normal. As long as your roof coverings isn't compromised then you won't have any issues.

Vapor barrier over parapet and plastic thermal fixings

What do you mean it's purpose. We choose a parapet for ascetics. I have the joists built on top of the solid concrete blocks. In between them and above is thermal blocks on the inner course. Osb ontop of fittings onto of 9x2s. Alutrix 600 onto of the OSB and will have 150mm insulation...

    Warm roof sealing

Duplex board? Is this the foiled back plasterboard? Not that I'm doubting you but would this not trap moisture between the board and vapor barrier if anywhere to get through the boards with the VB on top of the osb on the roof.
