    You did the right thing in getting advice. It might be worth contacting Trianco and explaining to them what has happened. They may out of good will help with getting the system corrected and made safe, either by one of their engineers doing the work or they arrange a local tradesman to help out.. Don't ask for that but instead approach them with the information as a constructive critique that maybe a better system of control over who can buy and install their equipment would reduce the risk of incorrectly installed equipment causing harm to people and the bad publicity that could create when the press report it incorrectly. Above all make it clear you have no complaint with them but you just need sound advice on how to make the lady's house safe.
