The topic is a more specific aspect of the earlier topic, which itself it was suggested to me may not have been understood.

The unit I have is a Flowmax which was long ago superseded by a 'better' model. I replaced the mixer valve (unit cost £85 or so) two years ago and have not had problems since.
Thanks Gasman for the url.
I previously looked at the Honeywell site, and found some pdf info but it is very sketchy and does not give a set up procedure.
I can see from what is provided that the 'probe' measures the water temperature and the n/c contact opens when a certain temp is...
I have an Aquastat installed in a Heatstore. The boiler has been changed but the Aquastat may not now be set correctly.
Any advice on how this device works, and what needs setting?

The heatstore CH/HW system has the advantage that it provides mains pressure HW. However due to water hardness the transfer coil in the heatstore which is at 80 deg C +/- is...

The problem I have is how to set the thermal...

Additional information:

Over the past year or so the disposal has not been used and kitchen waste is disposed of via the 'bin'
The smell is...
Hi Seco,
Yes, you are correct the sink is more of a quarter sink than a half sink. The main sink has a waste disposal unit (orange). The black down pipe is joined to the disposal outlet black pipe at the bottom of the picture. The disposal outlet has no separate U-bend.
