When I select HW only, instead of being in position A (far left), my mid position valve is going to the middle and thus turning on Central Heating when there should only be HW.
It correctly goes to B (far right) for CH only. It correctly returns to far left when everything is off.
Why is...
my bad, its actually a 1.4bar Stuart Turner twin showermate.
I was hoping I would be ok with the 15mm runs instead of 22mm as it is pumped. Was easier to route a channel in the walls for 15mm hence why i used it.
I have an existing 1.2 bar pump feeding a shower only about 1m away.
All is good. its connected up close to the hot water cylinder and has its own feed from the loft cold water tank.
I now want to Tee it off to feed a 5 metre distance of 15mm pipe at the end of which sits a happy new bath...
Thanks for the replies so far.
Its not PEX, its PB I'm talking about.
I want to run PB in my house, but I did some research and saw it was condemned in the USA.
Whats the difference with our PB that makes it not susceptible to the horror stories from the USA?
Polybutylene was condemned in the states because it flakes, leakes and splits.
Is our UK stuff the same as what has been condemned in the US?
Am I taking a risk using it? Anyone have any postive or negative stories?
It seems in USA the colour of waste pipe relates to its thickness.
Does this apply to ordinary high street waste pipe in the UK?
Is there any difference between grey, white and black?
