    Here is a picture from further back. It's in the cellar and you can see where the old lead pipe comes in. @CBW we don't have a water meter fitted.

    What's this pipe then?

    I'm excavating this area for block paving where an outdoor toilet once was. Just stumbled upon this pipe next to the soil pipe. Is this (or was) a water or gas pipe?

    Disconnecting gas oven. Not sure if this is a bayonet fitting...

    Title says it all really. Bit nervous about messing with this as all the bayonet fittings I've seen don't look like this. Any advice would be appreciated!
