    The lighter socket in my wife's Fabia is permanent live and she forgets to disconect the dash cam. Before i pay money out to have it hardwired, is there an easy fix like a fuse swap? thanks for your help in advance.

    Hi Burnerman. It is my ducatto. I replaced the threaded temp sensor but didn't seal it as the old one seemed not to be sealed. It is not like a steam fitting but a strait thread. So ptfe is ok? Thanks, Chris. And thanks for the help with the fuse box.
